Care Pro Tec

I guess I'm not like most people... Evidently the ploys of TV advertising are getting lazy or I'm a super advanced human being. Sadly I think its the first one. Lazy, to the point of insulting! In the hour or so a day which I watch TV I get the usual bombardment of slogans and sales pitches and that bring me to my first rant...
Nivea. Their recent commercial is a prime example of what has become of advertisements. Evidently this new and improved product from Nivea has "Care Pro Tec" which the commercial made sound like an equivalent to finding a cure for cancer. Do they explain anything? Maybe what Care Pro Tec is or how it can help me? No, they just decided to throw some buzz words together and believe that people will be impressed with whatever Care Pro Tec is. Their website is just as bad. Look at how they bold type the new Buzz words!
-Formulated with CARE PRO TEC the professional care technology that immediately activates and supports the natural function of men’s skin.
Okay... So its a formula? A technology? Whatever it is it activates immediately. Look they threw in Support and Natural :-O
I think the worst part about it is the fact that they (yes the infamous THEY) sat in a room and came up with these words. What was the meeting like? "Okay guys, here is a list of words that are popular. Lets see what we can come up with"
"Yeah, make sure Pro is in there, people like things that are pro" a guy might have said...
"Tec too, make it sound advanced and space aged" another blurts and some agreeing "Yeah!" from around the room
So, do NOT forget your Active Technology Formula that has Care, is Professional, and is... well Tec because skin cream is just skin cream without it!

This is just brilliant!
First things first...
Please, allow me to admit to you that I, wholeheartedly, agree with you. But, unfortunately, I will not be watching TV with you for some time :(

Coming from experience, creating these pitch slogans is no easy feat. You see, I've been a professional slogan consultant now for 12 years. My career was not that easy at the beginning, but after embracing the B2B PRO CARE method of communication with other companies, I found it very rewarding after a new slogan was born. :)

I've noticed, now that you and I have talked about this several times, that I've been picking apart commercials on TV now.... Thanks!!!11! <@: )
